AshiatoWhat is “Nagoneko” ?

“Nagoneko” is the volunteer Cat circle of Nagoya University. We carry out the Community Cat Programs in Nagoya University.

AshiatoWhat are the Community Cat Programs?

In this program, we see feral stray cats as a problem of our community and undertake a cat management system appropriately. With local resident’s understanding, we neuter all feral cats, manage their feeding, and carry out beautification activities.

Purpose:
Neutering of all feral cats
→ Stray cats can live out their lives, but their number will not increase. Cats and human can live together in harmony. Cats also don’t cry any more in season. Management of feeding
→Cats will not scavenge through garbage.
